The Station10 team complete an ‘Uphill struggle’ for mental health research charity MQ
The Station10 team have completed their ‘Uphill Struggle’ for mental health research charity MQ.
We have walked, run and cycled 1,275km in 14 days and raised £450 so far for MQ.
Here’s what one of the team had to say about the challenge:
“I have loved taking part in the MQ Uphill Struggle event. It has been so lovely to make sure I shut the laptop and take a break to clear my head and strive towards a goal (a refreshing addition to the usual lockdown routine of sleep, work, eat, drink, TV, repeat)! I have surprised myself with what we have achieved as a team and have loved checking in on everyone’s updates each day (we have some real ‘Sporty Spices’ among us), which I think has brought us all closer together in these times! The only drawback has been that all this walking for me has generally resulted in me picking up food en route as a reward – but a clear mind and a full belly can’t be a bad thing, right?” Helena
